Mascot Concept
There is a mountain called Mount Fukuchi in Fukuchi Town. Fukuchi, and it is said that a dragon once lived in the Shiraito Falls at the foot of the mountain. It is also considered a sacred mountain, and is said to have been chosen by mountain monks in the Shugendo sect of Buddhism as a place to train and attain enlightenment.
Cano Arau
When Cano Alaurease Fukuoka was in a bad situation, they changed their hometown to Fukuchi Town, and all the players climbed Mt. After climbing the mountain, all the problems that had been going on for years were resolved and everything turned around. There is a shrine of Fukuchi Shrine at the top of Mt. Fukuchi, and perhaps God was watching over the hard-working athletes and lent them strength. Of course, many difficulties and trials await us from now on. However, the experience of overcoming this most difficult period was very important for the club. From now on, whenever difficulties come our way, the confidence that we overcame these difficulties will be our source of sustenance. We chose the motif of “Guardian God” to express our wish that all members of the team will believe in each other to turn things around during games, no matter how unfavorable the situation.
We also added wisteria flowers from Fukuchi Town's famous “Geishin no Wisteria” as hair ornaments, and elements of a dragon said to have lived on Mt. Fukuchi with its horns and tail. Kanofuku is good friends with Fukuten-kun, the town character of Fukuchi Town, and they carry matching “gold Uchide-no-Kozuchi” hammers. Together with “Fukuten-kun,” the god of “good fortune” who wears lucky items all over his body, we will enliven Fukuchi-cho. We look forward to your support!
