On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, an international exchange match with the New Zealand U20 women's volleyball team was held at the Tagawa City General Gymnasium.

The match was full of youth and energy, with speedy rallies and powerful spikes. The audience cheered and applauded, demonstrating the appeal of international exchange through sports.

After the match, a reception with hors d'oeuvres was held at the venue, where the players could be seen smiling and talking with each other across national borders. It was a precious moment for the participants, who naturally got to know each other through the common language of volleyball, even though they spoke different languages.

The day was organized under an agreement between Fukuoka Prefecture, FIVB, and JVA, with Fukuoka Prefecture accepting the participants for the purpose of promoting volleyball to the younger generation in the Asia-Oceania region.
